"1,352 cubic inches of Helium" - 2009

(advertising balloon, rope, cinderblocks)

Description:This work consists of a large, playful looking, fully-inflated, balloon which lays tethered to the ground by thick ropes tied to heavy industrial cement blocks. The fact that the balloon is not actually inflated with helium may be a statement regarding our restrained inner-child, or it may just be joke, testing the viewer’s innate trust in the artist.
